Aðventan

Jæja aðventan fer að byrja ,vá hvað þessi tími er fljótur að liða ,búin að vera í Noregi síðan í byrjun águst en finnst ég búin að vera hér í nokkra daga ,finnst ég samt vera að missa af jólastemmingunni heima ,fólk í noregi er ekki að skreyta svona eins og heima og það eru víst allir með hvít ljós sem er reyndar fallegt finnst mér ,ég vippaði einum aðventu kransi upp einfaldur og flottur finnst mér ,kertin fékk ég í nille sem er svipuð og tiger heima kannski ,könglana fann ég úti í skógi og sprautaði með glimmeri ,kúlurnar eru af jólatrésskrautinu ,stjörnurnar eru lika úr nille .
Svo heklaði ég blóm á 10 ljósa seríur ,ein með glimmeri og ein úr afgangsléttlopa ,gengur allt árið held ég bara
ég er á fullu að prjóna og hekla gjafir ,gef ekkert meir upp um það í þessum pósti
en njótið aðventunnar ég veit að ég ætla að gera það ,vantar reyndar eldavél til að baka fyrir jólin en græja það um mánaðarmótinn

Its time for advent decoration´s ,every year i make a special decoration and this year i made a very simple one ,with these beautiful candles i found in Norway ,i also made christlights with some crochet flowers
enjoy the advent i know i will ,gona bake soma cookies and some cakes for my family

Mitten mania

Well yes im in total mitten mania and i love it ,this pair i made as a present (not gona tell who´s the lucky one .Its made with wool and ragg yarn its so pretty to see how the colors in the yarn change ,ive been knittin early in the morning when the kids leave for school and on the road as well ,the kids think its funny that i take my knittin with me almost everywhere i go.I would like to make a hat using this pattern ,its just so much fun to knitt it and not hard at all.
Now all i need is a litle snow it would just make me smile ,idont like the rain outside snow would so much more fun for the kids
I really should try to finich my sweater and start a new one for my 2 oldest daugthers they are putting presure on me to get to knitting for them :)

A happy post ,last weekend we got to go to a litle town called Egersund ,the way to that pretty place was very pretty ,we drove by the see for a while and then we found our selfs in this litle place called Egersund .There the peoble have a litle julebyen/christmas marked in desember HEREim planing on going there with a few Icelandic women who also live here ,im so exited about that trip couse i love the christmas time and everything around it.
las couple of days have very wet here :( i dont like the rain i would rather have snow then rain ,i found this awsome litle shop in my town in walking distance with so many pretty christmas ornaments omg i whanted to sleep in there (im so going back and gon buy some pretty litle things )well the kids a sceaming at me all at once so i need to go see ya later .

Mitten mania

Im on a mitten mania these days ,funny how i take something and just get opsessd with them ,but i found a pattern for these mittens HERE and i thought it would be really hard to knitt these but there are really easy and sooo much funn to knitt i will for sure be knitting more of these in all kinds of colors,already have the next color combo picked out and cant wait to start but i really should try to finish my wool sweater but i just cant seem to focus on it not sure why.
Ok about these mittens i used yarn from my stash (yes trying to use what i have already)its a sport yarn some leftovers from my granny blanket.
have a wonderful weekend and do some fun knitting or croshet

Forest canopy shawl

Búið að langa lengi að prjóna mér sjal en þetta vafðist eitthvað svakalega fyrir mér ,keypti þetta yndislega garn í Storkinum og byrjaði á einhverri uppskrift sem ég skildi ekki baun í ,fór svo á einhvern hitting í Nálinni þar sem Evenly Clark var að kenna /,eða samt ekki kenna því það virtust allir kunna þetta nema ég svo ég gafst upp ,borgaði morð fyrir þetta og lærði ekkert :( var mjög spæld yfir þessu .En ákvað að gefast ekki upp og halda áfram að prufa mig áfram og eftir nokkrar tilraunir þá tókst mér að klára þetta sjal Forest Canopy ,auðvelt að sjá villur og gott að muna munstrið þannig ég er massa ánægð með það og sjálfan mig líka því nuna skil ég þetta .Hefði mátt hafa það pínu stærra en var soldið stressuð yfir því að eiga ekki nóg garn því þetta er ju keypt heima fyrir löngu síðan og ég er ekki á klakanum þannig ég gerði 10 repeats og það passa flott um hálsin eins og ég vildi ,Hekla vildi svo endilega pósa með það fyrir myndartöku.

Pretty petal potholder

Found this pattern need i say i had to try it out ,im far from good in making potholders but hey practise makes perfect like my friend Marily said ,i used cotton yarn i found in my local yarn stor ,it will go on my potholderwall .You can find the pattern for this cute potholder here
well im gona go and practise some more

pottaleppar

Fékk þá flugu að það væri gaman að gera slatta af pottaleppum og hengja á vegg hérna :) bara for the fun of it ,gengur ekkert svakalega vel ,er eitthvað klaufaleg við þetta en gerði þessa tvo en hvort þetta endar sem pottaleppur eða eitthvað annað á eftir að koma í ljós ,leiðb af minni leppinum færðu hérna hin er úr bókinni 200 crochet blocks
