Snow kaos

Well i sure got what i whanted haha snow and more snow its been snowing now for 2 nights and one day and on friday they say there is storm coming ,i only hope i get to keep the snow untill christmas
im not sure if i can walk to work and i sure cant take the car ......... well i just have to give it a try ,dress good and go for it .

my 7 year old is affraid that she will drown in the snow on her way to school ,i told her that she will make it fine :)
Im glad im almost done with my shopping ,took 2 days and bought almost everything ,so now everything im sending to Iceland is on its way home to our family .
well im getting ready for work and i hope you guys out there have a good day .

Madla sunset

The only day this week that the sun was shining so i whent to Madla to get some sunset pic´s ,i was planing on getting the big swords in those shots but the sun wasnt going down in that spot so i found some other awesome spots i really liked ,one problem there was a big cloud coming in fast so i had to be really fast

I did get some good shot´s but the rest of them i cant relly use but then i just have to wait for the sun to shine again and i will be out there again :)

I have been looking for a spot like this all summer ,finally i found it .
i have also been looking for rocks that lead to the sunset or sunrise and here i have everything ive been looking for in one spot, how fab is that .

Im having fun learnig new things both using my camera and my new photoshop ,hubby just bought me a new computer ,he´s so good to me .
we will be very busy the next 2 weeks ,have somethings we are planning so i may not be around so much but it will all be clear soon enough :)

Stavanger

I whent to Stavanger yesterday and there was so much going on there ,so many peoble well the weather was so good so no suprise that there where so many peoble there ,but there was something going on there ,tents from all over the world ,Spain ,UK, Italia, Holland and many more and they all where selling and giving peoble a taste of what they where selling .
So much fun to walk around and see what they had to offer .I was so unlucky that my camera was out batteri ,so hubby used his phone to take these picks.

I just had to buy this gorgeous chocolate slice ,its not a cake its just chocolate to eat and its so awesome ,i just had to have to last night with some red wine ........

and i bought some yummy salami as well ,oh my lord its so good .
i hope they have this every weekend .

Breakfast in the garden

Such a nice sunday here in Norge today ,sunny and warm so i baked some yummy  bread for the family and we had breakfast in the garden .

Sweet Paul

Friday and i woke up earli with all the kids.
I whent to get the new issue of Sweet Paul and its so wonderful ,i love the cover and will for sure try that kake it looks so pretty .

what better way to spend this awesome day then to sit in the sun with my new magazine and drik ice cold starbuks strawberry frabbuccino and eat fresh berry´s .

hope the weather stays as good for the rest of the summer .

Nice sunday

Its a cozy sunday here ,the hubby working on some things for me and we had some guest´s and yeh i baked some chocolate buns .

Today is the Norwegian national day and we celebrate with them ,the kids had parade´s to go to and it was really fun to see how they celebrate there day ,everyone had there national costumes on ,it was amazing to see ,we had so much fun ,thanks for this great day Norway .

Plants in the greenhouse

Omg im not sure what i was thinking when i planted those tomatoseeds .
Now i have 38 tomatoplants growing like crazy !! 10 strawb plants ,oregano ,basill,and mint ,2  dahlia´s
and i really whant some grape´s as well ,not sure what hubby will say about that ,but this i got him to do yesterday.

i already painted on of them and they can be used as flower bench or seats for the kids  or me :)

Many things

I love things like this and here in Norway there are so many romantic things to find .
Me and the litle man whent for a drive and found these great romantic things in Bohus.

and since im loving all flowers i thought these flowers pots where to cute to walk away from

and the best thing is the dint cost alot

i them i have Dahlia´s they are so pretty with there pink flowers

we have busy day´s ahead so i better get my act together,with a big family off 7 you need to plan everything well .

Garden

Its saturday night and im having some beer oh yeh
but today it was very hot ,the sun was trying to hide from in the sky´s !!!

here is a pic of my strawb plant ,its grown so much since i gott it ,i cant wait for so some berry´s grow here.
the day was pretty boring :( no car so we dint do much ,have to say i wasnt in a good mood today
but then joi´s friend brought a car that he is gona lend us for 2 months oh yeh how nice is he :)) such a great guy

 so im gona go tomm and try to drive here in norway ,i havent driven a car in 9 months now

thats my litle guy watering my flowers ,he will start kindergarden in august ,and he is so happy about that :)

Monday

Its a new week how time fly´s ,its been nine months since i moved here to Norway on the 5th of May
it seems a long time but its not .

Iceland will always be home no matter how much i like Norway ,i dont think about how long we will live here better to just stay in the moment and now worrie about what will happen in the future .
Me and my litle guy baked some bread buns with cottage cheese in and wow they are really soft just perfect ,sure the girls will love to get new bread when they come home from school .

i just found this tree in my garden and it has the most beautiful flowers ,it seems as its been grafted to another tree .

we had wonderful weekend ,the weather has been just awesome :) im really loving it here ,we had lunch in the garden yesterday and then we took the kids to the carnival again ,just for a few rides .
then i got a haircut ,so happy with my hair now .

Preikestolen

Hubby and me planned to hike up to the Preikestolen ,so we packed out litle backpack ,sandwich and lots to drink .So off we whent ,we where both very exited to go (left the kids home with the big girls)
its a very beautiful way to drive big mountains and trees grow all the way to the top .
The walk to is very steep in places and very rocky so it was a hard walk in some places and the hike
takes 1-3 hours depending on experience and fitness level.it took us 2 hours and we stopped and took pic´s and the you cant not stopp and look at the view on the way up.

We had such great weather not to hot but sunny ,so it was very nice to hike in that weather ,the only thing i was not happy with was the fog/mist or it was like there was white smoke in the air ,so that kinda blocked the view.

here is how some of the path is ,but this one is a good one haha not so hard hiking up that one

but here we have more difficulty thats more how the way up is like ,i saw one girl how had hurt her legg and they had to go back down so you better be careful whe you hike these paths.

There are litle lakes on the way up and this one was still bit frozen and we saw snow in some places :) reminded me of home .

ok after 2 hours we where finally there :) i was really tierd but we had to explore the rock a bit before we sat down and had out litle lunch ,there was alot of peoble there ,and peoble with kids (not something i would do ) and so many dogs to .

I did it .now i can do anything haha thats how i felt

Thats me laying there on the edge (not sure what my mom is gona say when she sees these pic´s)
it was a really really relly long way down,before we whent up we had both said hell no im not gona sit or lay on the edge thats just crazy peoble that do that ,but when i got up there ,i dint even think about not doing it ,after hiking for  2 hours you just have to take that look down .

im not saying i wasnt ´s sceard i was to beging with ,i had to crawl to the edge hehe but i did it and now im sure i can do almost anything .

Like i said i whant to go again and then i hope the mist or what ever it was isnt there ,its not so easy to get good pic´s in these conditions but that hike was so worth it ,and im still kinda sore after all that hike but it was a GOOD workout .

and thats something i would never in the world think i would do ,sit on that edge is really sceary but i did it ;) hehe .

and thats how far down it is ,its awsome dont you think .
and we have already planned the next hike ....... we are gona hike up to the Kjeragbolten
and thats even harder to hike .

Easter cupcake part 2

I did so many easter cupcakes so im posting them i 2 parts.

These are vanilla cupc with a litle lemmon in them ,and the icing is crisco (thats how i get the icing so white )
recipe for really white icing
1 cup crisco
3 table spoons or more if you need warm water
1 tsp clear vanilla extract (it has to be clear )
7 to 8 cups sifted confectioners' suga

combine crisco, water and vanilla in a mixer and mix well tog
then you start to add the sugar ,not all at the time ,if you think you dont need all the sugar then dont add it all at once ,i used 7 cups and added a litle more water so i would start with 5 to 6 cups and add more if you think you need it
and thats how you get really white icing

we had so much fun yesterday when whent for a walk in the woods looking for the bunny´s dint see any but found lots of birds and ants :/
i also found a huge cherry blossom tree ,and my daughter found this litle branch that somebody had taken of the tree and left it on a table ,so we took it home and are hoping to grow it but i need some help ,do i put it water and wait for litle roots and plant it in a pot then or what so if you know how to do that please tell me so i can give this litle branch its life back .

well today im doing something really fun and its only for grown ups so im leaving the kids with the oldest girls cause me and hubby are going to walk up to the  Preikestolen ,its a really hight place with this awesome view so my camera is going with us and im packing some lunch and my sneakers :) im so exited .so you will hopefully see some fun pic´s later .

so how do you like my version of easter cupcakes ? my brother said they should not be eaten hehe ,but they taste to good to just look at them and i can always make more .

can you tell that i love these cherry tree´s ? hehe im just in love with them
